Allison grew up in Canal Winchester, Ohio, and graduated in 2007 from Mount Carmel College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Upon completing nursing school, she worked as a registered nurse in both emergency services and in intensive care. After five years as an acute nurse, Allison decided to continue her studies to become a nurse practitioner and focus on preventative care. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Science in Nursing and became a Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 2014. Allison is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), the American Academy of Anti-Aging (A4M), and the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). Her special interests include functional medicine, gut health, and preventative care. As a military spouse, Allison has lived in Washington State, Oklahoma, and Alabama. In 2020, she settled in her hometown of Canal Winchester with her husband, three daughters, and their big dog, Jake.
